Lovely 1808 Georgian English Silver Teapot Solomon Hougham, London
Gorgeous Sterling Silver Georgian Teapot in excellent condition. Made by Solomon Hougham and assayed in London in 1808 During the Reign of George III. This lovely early 19th Century Teapot is of Rectangular Form on 4 Ball Feet with fluted waist and gadrooned borders, has it's original fruitwood handle and weighs 540 grams all in. It is in wonderful condition, has a flush hidden hinge and measures 10 3/4" L x 5" W x 5 3/4 H. It is engraved with the initials TAC on one side and FKH on the other.
This teapot has the following hallmarks. Makers' Mark'SH' for Solomon Hougham. Date Letter'N' for 1808 London. Please see photos and send us a question if further clarity is required.
